The Grade I listed building that houses the Long Gallery is one of the most unique surviving Jacobethan manors.
The delicate carved plasterwork in the Long Gallery was executed in French 18th century style as was the whole interior of the room.
The project included careful cleaning of the painted and oil gilded plaster entablature and decorated timber panels of the frieze.
All the plaster losses were repaired and retouched.
