Work begins on Grade II* listed church in Lincolnshire

1 May, 2017

Chroma Conservation has been appointed to uncover the Victorian decorative scheme to the chancel and to carry out the conservation treatment of the painted cornices at St James Grade II* listed church in Moulton Chapel, Lincolnshire.

St James was built in 1722 as a daughter church to All Saints Moulton, with 19th century additions. It is a beautiful, octagonal gem of a church with Dutch influences.

HLF Grant Aided Repairs include roof replacement, brick and stone repairs.
